The Baptism of Jesus

This tapestry of the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist is known as a Flemish Tapestry, woven in the old tradition of the tapestries of Flanders, Belgium. 

The tapestry is based on the designs made by John Nava for the tapestry cycles of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angeles, Los Angeles, California. 

The tapestry is given in the memory of Michael Masley, Sr. and Agnes (Bielik) Masley as a beautiful remembrance of their own Baptism into the Faith of St. Anthony's.
