Our Religious program uses the Christ Our Life series which employs the spiral curriculum, originally introduced by Loyola Press. The program for each grade level builds upon previous ones, following a pattern of continuous growth in depth and scope. At the heart of the series is a harmonious integration of Scripture, Tradition, and action. In the spiral curriculum, Scripture is centered between the 4 fundamental themes of the Cathechism of the Catholic Church: Creed, Sacraments, Morality, and Prayer. In addition, Catholic social teachings are woven into each chapter to enourage active participation in the faith.

St. Anthony of Padua’s mission in Religious Education is to help the parish’s children experience the presence of God in their lives and to learn who Jesus Christ is by the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the inspiration and example of parents. It aims to follow the ways of Jesus Christ through Catholic teachings of the Faith and to creatively engage them in the learning process.
